Over the summer, the Westmont cheerleaders have been hard at work perfecting their cheers, stunts, and halftime routines, gearing up for the upcoming football season. After returning from cheer camp at Jessup University, they’ve brought back numerous new chants, stunts, and cheers to show off at their games. With the TCC season and tryouts approaching, the Varsity team is taking their preparations to the next level with more advanced stunts, all in anticipation of UCA nationals in Florida. Varsity Captain Sofia Grajeda states, “I’m excited for TCC tryouts, I see a lot of potential in this team, and I think that we can do really well this year in Florida.” Thanks to their dedication over the summer, the team is excited to showcase their next halftime performance on September 27th at home. Be sure to come out and support Westmont and the cheer team as they kick off the 2024-2025 school season with their next game!
