One of the most tried and true Vietnamese restaurants in the Campbell area, being conveniently located near WestGate mall and schools, LeQuy maintains a positive reputation among the local community of pho-lovers. With a variety of dishes ranging from the classic pho ga to a quick banh mi or tasty pork plate, the menu serves a wide variety of taste buds, making it the perfect meet up spot for any day or event. In addition, the service at the Vietnamese restaurant remains quick and considerate. The waiters always greet customers with a polite hello and the food arrives at the tables hot and fast (the longest time I’ve waited in my 10 years of going there was 15 minutes), which, again, makes it the perfect meal whether you’re in a rush or want to savor the flavor. Lastly, LeQuy provides customers with a warm and comfortable environment, letting customers enjoy the memories they make at the restaurant with friends or loved ones while experiencing a deep sense of satisfaction because of the delectable meals. LeQuy maintains a deep sense of enchantment that charms its customers into always returning for more. Not only is the food absolutely mouth-watering and satisfying, the community and environment LeQuy provides stands unmatched by any other Vietnamese restaurant. Joseph and I made sure to try the most delicious dishes, getting input from many family members about their own favorite meals from the restaurant, to share with you. Below are some of our most recommended items from LeQuy.
- #42 Pho Ga with Breast Meat (Cami)
My personal favorite dish, the pho ga, is the perfect meal on a summer morning or stormy winter afternoon. The broth provides a deep sense of satisfaction and satiates any soup craving in an instant. Additionally, as a result of a different ratio of ingredients in the broth, LeQuy pho ga has a slightly different flavor as a result of more ginger than other pho restaurants which traditionally include more coriander seed in their soups, ultimately creating a unique taste that you can’t experience anywhere else. Lastly, the ratio of soup to noodles to meat balances itself out, letting you enjoy all three parts of the meal without an overload from a singular part of the pho.
- #40 Beef LemonGrass Vermicelli (Joseph)
Though #42 is a great bowl of pho, for those who crave a meatier and more savory dish, #40 pho bo is another great pick. Unless you’re unable to tolerate some spice, the broth provides a multitude of deep flavors, showing the love and effort that is incorporated into the soup base. Served along with a side dish of traditional toppings consisting of bean sprouts, basil, lime, and some spicy peppers, Lequy ensures you are able to tweak and customize your steaming bowl of pho to your liking. Finally, the hot and spicy brother accompanied by what seems like a large mountain of cabbage (trust me it is the perfect amount), this bowl of pho maintains a nice balance of flavors that hits in the perfect spot during a cold and windy day.
- #65 BBQ Pork (Cami)
My sister’s favorite dish, we always make sure to order a freshly grilled plate of aromatic BBQ chicken at dinners. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, the pork always has a delicious flavor and texture perfect for any meal. A perfect meal for on the go adventures, the BBQ pork dish always has amazing taste that satiates cravings. Whether you eat in or out, this meal is guaranteed to meet your expectations and leave you feeling satisfied.
