Giving back to the community is the central focus of Westmont’s Hope Kits, a first-year club which packs “kits” to support various organizations in need. The first few Hope Kits meetings revolved around creating kits for shelter dogs, in which dog toys, blankets, and treats were hand-made. We’ve also written notes for those sick in St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and hosted several bonding experiences for the club members. Soon to come are school supply kits to less fortunate students in Africa. Come stop by room 19B for future meetings in the upcoming school year, help make an impact in someone else’s life!
