To feel so deeply
Is it a blessing or a curse?
The human nature
Is a spirit so complex,
Resembling the ripples of an ever changing tide.
Life presents itself in a series of waves.
You can hope to float over one,
And take the risk of not timing it right,
Or you can dive right through,
Embracing what’s under the surface.
The ocean is vast.
And to be so minuscule
In a terrain so large,
It alters one’s perspective of living.
What is one’s presence in this constantly moving body of water?
How strange it is to actually be anything at all.
