“Tennis is a game of the mind, lock in guys,” wisely instructs one of the Westmont Boys’ Tennis captains, Kai Wang. Alongside Hasan Siddiqi, Kai leads the team of 13 players (6 of whom are returning varsity athletes). Working hard, the team focused on refining both their physical and mental abilities. Clearly, practice made perfect as the boys’ tennis players went undefeated in the BVAL Santa Teressa West division this year! Player Nabh Sharma won second in singles; and Shugo Fujikawa, first in doubles three. On April 25, the team will enter their CCS qualifying tournament with confidence and high hopes.
