The Westmont track & field season is well underway with the league championships set for the end of this week. Coached by jumps coach Paul Becker, sprint coach Jason Ly, and distance coach Ron Ernst, the team has been making steady progress. Thus far the varsity boys have had some excellent individual performances and a grand team effort while the varsity girls are undefeated as of right now. Junior Sophie Schwarz, who scores in the long jump, triple jump, 100 hurdles, and high jump, currently leads the girls in points, winning most of her events and possibly MVP for the third year in a row. Come support track and field at MHAL finals on April 25th and 27th at 4 pm at Leigh High School!
