- Honey Nut Cheerios
Cheerios are a classic must-have. First, the sugar is not overpowering as the honey provides just enough sugar to sweeten the milk. Next, I don’t have to worry about if I am getting a satisfactory ratio of add-ons to cereal. The homogeneity of Cheerios makes it a stress-free breakfast option that I will never tire of.
- Froot Loops
Mmmm, the flavors, the colors, the weird color your milk turns when all the unhealthy food dye and sugar unloads into your bowl. I particularly like sorting out the colors and eating them one section at a time. While Froot Loops certainly aren’t the healthiest, they sure are the prettiest. The only con is the sugar levels.
- Special K (Must have strawberries)
The grains of Special K are easy to bite through and the crispy flakes give a delicious crunch. When eaten with strawberries, the dried fruit provides a tangy burst of flavor. Special K is also a good snack for hiking, road trips, or just for doing homework. The only downside of Special K is that it can get very soggy, very quickly.
- Cocoa Puffs
Whoever invented Cocoa Puffs is a genius. Cereal, which then turns into chocolate milk? Genius. The only thing I can’t get behind is the weird shape; the sphere-shaped grains feel awkward in my mouth.
- Rice Krispies
Who made these abominations? All they do is soak up the bland milk into their thin soggy shells and make a squelchy noise when you chew on them. The only thing they win at is how fast a cereal can soak up whatever liquid you put it in. Rice Krispies contain no flavor, whether you eat them with milk or not.
