Like most teenage girls, we adore Starbucks. Every last penny we have is spent on the large variety of drinks they have to offer whether it be an ice-cold refresher, sugary frappuccino, or a perfectly brewed coffee. Scrolling through TikTok or Instagram Reels, we see a lot of crazy drink combinations that we’ve always been hesitant to try. We decided to take the risk and try all of the wild drinks so you don’t have to!

Name: Strawberry Shortcake
What we ordered: Strawberry Creme Frappuccino with 3 pumps of white mocha, 2 scoops of vanilla powder, and line the cup with caramel
Price: $7.65 for a grande
Sophia’s ranking: 10/10
Donya’s ranking: 10/10
At first glance, the Strawberry Shortcake looks like a simple strawberry frappuccino with an overload of caramel. From the very first sip, we quickly learn it was so much more. Comparable to a caramel apple or strawberry KitKat, the pleasant blend of strawberry, caramel, white chocolate, and vanilla, made the frappuccino one of the best we’ve ever tasted. With its addicting flavors, we weren’t able to put the drink down until every last bit was gone. We highly recommend this drink to all frappuccino and strawberry lovers and will definitely be ordering again!!

Name: Hurricane Caramel
What we ordered: Iced Venti Caramel Macchiato, no vanilla syrup, 2 pumps of pumpkin sauce, 2 pumps of white mocha sauce, salted cream caramel cold foam, add caramel brulee topping.
Price: $8.50 for a grande
Sophia’s rating: 8/10
Donya’s rating: 7.5/10
Hurricane Caramel was an explosive swirl with a million different flavors, coming together to create a very sweet, but delicious drink. After finding this drink on Pinterest, we had very high expectations, but because of its many additions, it really just tasted like an extremely sweet coffee. “Diabetes in a cup,” Emma Fry replied after stealing a sip. Despite being overpriced and quite sweet, the combination of caramel, pumpkin, and mocha was delicious. Hurricane Caramel is the ideal drink for those who like the taste of coffee, but not the bitterness, and it will surely give you a good kick to start your morning!

Name: Matcha Madness
What we ordered: Iced Passion Tango Tea with 4 scoops of matcha powder and 6 pumps of liquid cane sugar
Price $4.95 for a venti
Sophia’s ranking: 4/10
Donya’s ranking: 4/10
After asking the barista to make us a unique drink, she conjured up the Matcha Madness. Just reading the tag full of matcha powder and liquid cane sugar made us nervous to try the drink. To our surprise, the drink tasted similar to iced tea. The flavor of the matcha took away from the Passion Tea, so we’d recommend fewer scoops. Since we aren’t fans of matcha, we didn’t like the drink as much, but it is perfect for matcha lovers and iced tea fanatics!!
