The first time I ever played Minecraft was on my moms little iPhone 5 in kindergarten. Ever since then, I’ve gone through cycles of time where I forget the game exists for a few months and then I rediscover it and binge-play for a whole week straight. When I was younger I would obsess over how to make new redstone contraptions, or catch the ender dragon, but now I play it just for the relaxation of building. As a busy highschool girl that is not by any means an expert on video games and plays for an average of less than an hour per week, I have found Minecraft to be the one and only video game which is easy to play, does not frustrate me, and is relaxing. The endless possibilities for what you can build in creative mode, and fun adventures to go on in survival mode make sure that there’s always something fun to do!
Minecraft sparks creativity within whoever plays it! I love working countless hours designing and building new mansions or underground bunkers. The background music in the game is super peaceful and the noise that water makes in the game can be very calming to hear in the background. This video game is perfect to play with friends or a new love interest because it’s easy enough to allow you to have a normal conversation with them while still building. It is the perfect bonding experience when you want to get to know someone better as you can work together without it being boring or awkward. I love Minecraft and I will be playing it till the day I’m on my deathbed!
