Walking around Westmont, whether it is a 40-degree, rainy kind of day or 85-degree, sunny day, you are sure to see students wearing pajama pants to school. This fashion choice, however, is getting old! Wearing pajama pants as a casual lazy style every once in a while used to be cool, but kids have been wearing these pajama bottoms every single day, and it has gotten old. First of all, PJ bottoms are meant to be slept in, and wearing them to school every day makes it seem like you never even change your clothes. Ew! For anyone that thinks it makes them cool, it does not. Wearing the same thing every day actually just gives off the vibe that you do not care what you look like and you make no effort to show up in a presentable manner. While I understand the comfort and coziness that pajamas bring, I do not think they should be worn in any sort of fashionable way. Wearing pajama pants occasionally or just for dress-up days and as school spirit merch is reasonable, however to a certain extent it becomes unfashionable.
