After an amazing season last year, and a majority of seniors graduating, expectations were high for this year’s football team. And despite losing quite a few players with last year’s graduating class, this year’s team has been putting on an impressive run. Currently sitting at 4 wins and 3 losses, with one win and one loss within the league, playoffs hopes are high as they open a three game streak at home. Starting QB Mason Pound has had a solid past couple games after a shaky start, with his number one receiver, Mason Price, always being in the right place at the right time. When asked for his thoughts on how the season will go, Junior Matthew “Momo” Taylor responded “We have a lot of high hopes this season. The team is confident that we will go all the way this year. Westmont’s next game will be next Friday, the 27th, as we host Willow Glen High School in the bowl at 7pm.
