Unique mediums, iconic images, and bright colors — Pop Art first comes to mind when visualizing notable, interesting art styles. Containing a mission to stray away from the connotations behind traditional fine art, the Pop Art movement started in England around the 1950’s. Known for its eccentric styles, many artists from this era chose to also include popular culture, media, and commercials; where the movement attributes its name to. With no real rules, artworks range anywhere from polka dots to comic book canvas. Read down below to learn about famous pop artists and their masterpieces.
