After a successful second-ever competition season, Westmont’s dance team continues to shine. Recently, the team performed at the Battle of the Classes rally, shocking Westmont students with a new style of dance: hiphop. Diverging from their standard style, pom, the dance team worked tirelessly to perfect their performance. Now, the team is working on training new members, as auditions were held on 4/6. Junior Cat Kemp states, “Auditions were extremely successful and we’re so excited for next season.” Bringing on three new dancers and keeping seven, this fabulous group of dancers will continue to shock students and dominate competitions in the 2023-24 season.
