While there are always many controversial aspects of my favorite sport softball, one thing will always be agreed upon by the softball community: the original dark gray Ghost is the best. Ghost is the name of a gray composite bat made by Easton. Not only is its sleek design appealing to the eye, but out of all of the Ghost bats made it is by far the best. It has the most pop, great balance, and a comfortable feel. The bat, which debuted for the first time in 2018, is no longer being manufactured. With a bat’s life expectancy around only a year, it is incredibly difficult to get your hands on a good conditioned 2018 Ghost. If you do happen to stumble across this bat, it will cost a pretty penny, with used bats selling for $400 and new bats for hundreds more. While I may no longer have a working Ghost bat, I will always have fond memories of the elite piece of equipment.
