James Harper is a current senior at Westmont and aside from being one of the most hardworking people that I know, he is such an interesting person!
What activities do you do at Westmont?
I lead the technical theater department! I also am the President of the Gay-Straight alliance, and I participate in both school and district Equity and Diversity boards.
What do you enjoy about each of these activities?
For tech, I’m driven by the people I work with and the integrity of the professional community. For equity/GSA, I like making a positive change and having the power to change the systems I take part in.
What are some of your hobbies/things you enjoy doing outside of school or in your free time?
In my very limited hobby time, I like to play D&D, go motorcycling, and spend time with my family and pets.
Favorite thing about Westmont?
My favorite thing about Westmont are teachers like Mr. Evans and Ms. McLellan–-really passionate, caring adults who make all the difference.
