Standing at a mere 5’1, senior Eliana Birnbaum leaves a giant legacy at Westmont as she prepares for her departure. A fan of Taylor Swift, kicker of soccer balls, and lover of coffee, Birnbaum improves Westmont every day with nothing but her presence. Another student at Westmont, Amelia Lipcsei, persistently raves about this freckled scholar, stating: “Eliana has got to be the most inspirational and devoted student at this school; she constantly raises the bar for us all.”
What activities do you do at Westmont?
I’m on the girls soccer team and am a part of LIFE Crew and the Women in STEM club.
What do you enjoy about each of these activities?
I enjoy the soccer team because I think we have become really close this past season and it’s fun getting to play the sport I love with the people I see at school. I enjoy LIFE Crew because I love getting to know new people and helping them feel welcomed.
What are some of your hobbies/things you enjoy doing outside of school or in your free time?
I really enjoy spending time with my friends and going to little cafes or coffee shops with them. I also enjoy spending time outdoors whether it’s playing soccer or going on a walk with my friends. I also like to bake, watch tv, and take after school naps.
Favorite thing about Westmont?
My favorite thing about Westmont are all the opportunities it offers and ways you can get involved at school. There really is a club for like everything, and if there isn’t, it is super easy to start one. I also love how much spirit we have and how hard everyone goes at rallies and spirit days.
