Yas Trader Joes

Trader Joe’s sells a wide range of chips that may be used as appetizers, sides, snacks, and more. The variety of products available include many options for individuals with dietary restriction, there are vegan, gluten-free, vegetarian, and other dietary dips. The simple dips are ideal for a quick bite or a late-night snack. With so many possibilities, it might be difficult to decide what to try. Continue reading to learn about our top picks for low-cost, high-quality dips.

Smoked Salmon Dip with Caper: Even if you’re not a huge lover of seafood, you’ll like this dip. Although it may seem frightening, the first component is cream cheese, which gives the drop of a wonderfully creamy and smooth feel. The salmon has just the proper amount of saltiness and a tinge of smokiness, making it ideal for pairing with chips. One item to note is that, while being described as a salmon dip, the delicious fishy flavor was not dominating.

Roasted Garlic Hummus: You can never go wrong with hummus! The Roasted Garlic Hummus was not the only hummus choice available at Trader Joe’s but it looked the most appealing. It was the ideal combo when dipped in with a Pita Chip. As compared to other varieties of hummus, this one was softer and creamier, but the hummus itself was unremarkable. Because there are only a few garlic flavors, there isn’t much that stood out making it like an average hummus dip.

Zhoug Sauce: Be cautious: this dip appears to be rather frightening. Zhoug is a traditional Middle Eastern dish comprised of herbs, chiles, and spices, but the one from Trader Joe’s adds cilantro, jalapeño, and a variety of other ingredients. I had no idea what to anticipate when I saw it, but it seemed disgusting, terrifying, and clumpy. The cilantro and jalapeno hints were fairly apparent, leaving us short of breath from the spiciness. Although this dip is sold with other dips at Trader Joe’s, it is more of a spread or condiment. We would not buy it again to dip with pita chips, but it would be delicious with burrito bowls.

Vegan Buffalo Dip: Buffalo Sauce is supposed to have both a spicy and tangy flavor but let me tell you differently. This dip has a disgustingly sweet taste–not savory and although it is a vegan dip a taste of yogurt took over. Whether it was Pita chips or Califulaower pieces the dip was not appetizing and consisted of a weird texture.

Everything but the bagel: Everything except the bagel spice, chips, and dips is delicious. The flavor of everything spice is prevalent, and the dip tastes something like cream cheese. It’s as if we put some spices on top of the cream cheese, however, it has a yogurt consistency. In addition, it has a dash of low-fat yogurt flavor.

Sweet Cannoli Dip: What about a sweet dip? Sounds intriguing and delectable, doesn’t it? No, it’s not what you’re looking for. As you open the package, you see it appears like sour cream but tastes extremely sweet, which throws you off. The sweet taste is not one that you become addicted to; it is sweet that you get when you try to create your own frosting at home with powdered sugar and it fails miserably.
