Celebrating Galentine’s

Are you struggling trying to figure out what your plans are on Valentine’s Day? I recommend turning it into a Galentine’s Day! Spend it with your best friends cooking, watching movies, painting, and more.

  1. Have a picnic.

A picnic is a great way to enjoy some fresh air and spend some time outdoors. Instead of grabbing food to-go, spend time with your friends beforehand making food platters, sandwiches, salad, and some sweets. Eating with a view is unmatched.

  1. Cook pizza.

I’ve seen pictures of heart-shaped homemade pizzas. As we all know, the main decoration for Valentine’s Day is a heart. Heart shaped pizza is a subtle way to make simple pizza a little more special. To make it easier, grab some ready to go dough and chop up some toppings at home. Everyone can make their own customized pizza.

  1. Watch romantic comedies.

In my opinion, rom-coms are the perfect movies to watch on Valentine’s Day. I believe the best rom-com is How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Spend the night binge watching everyone’s favorite rom-coms.

  1. Paint canvases.

If you’re struggling on choosing what to paint, I recommend searching through Pinterest for inspiration. Turn on some music and create paintings that you can hang in your room. This is a great way to express your creativity and make some unique decor.

  1. Have a self-care night.

Nothing makes a girl feel better than a night of self care. Invite your friends over for a sleepover. Spend time doing face masks, hair masks, teeth whitening, and more. Just make sure to do things that make you feel good.

  1. Build Legos.

Go to the mall with your friends where you can each pick out your own lego. Save them for Valentines Day where you can all meet up and build the legos together. Legos are fun to build and will be fun to display in your room to remember all the memories you had on that day.
