What Is Your Favorite Lyric?

By Elika Kalami

Lyrics, and the nature of their delivery, dive deeper into the human mind and emotions. For those who appreciate the formation and underlying meaning of music, like myself, analyzing a song’s lyrics is the most crucial part of the experience. Lyrics in music are influential for both the music artist and listener as they project emotion and feeling through the form of melody and poetry. For this very reason, I decided to compile a list of Westmont students’ favorite lyrics. We hope this brings you new music recommendations and song interpretations!
