The San Francisco 49ers are turning their whole season around. After starting the season 3-4 — last in the NFC West division—they are now sitting in first place with a record of 7-4. The Niners defense is ranked #1 in points allowed this year. After the win against the Saints, the Niners defense has gone 4 consecutive games with a second half shut out. The Niners defense is on fire and it seems near impossible to put points up against them. Currently the 3rd seed in the NFC playoffs, the Niners are hungry to fight for the 1st place seed and earn a first round bye. It seems like the San Francisco 49ers are ready to make a playoff run and they are ready to fight for the 1st place seed. Hopefully the old saying “Defense Wins Championships” proves to be true.
