The band Dan + Shay started when Dan Smyers met Shay Mooney during a party in Nashville, Tennessee. They released their first song together, “19 You + Me” was released in 2013. In 2014, they opened for Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton and even went on their own “Where It All Began” tour. In 2015, the band announced their “Right Kind of Crazy” tour as they kept on releasing popular singles like “From the Ground Up” and “How Not to” from their second album, Obsessed. Their third self-titled studio album, Dan + Shay, featured the hit songs “Tequila,” “Speechless,” and “All to Myself,” and featured other popular artists such as Kelly Clarkson. In 2019, the pair went on tour with Shawn Mendes and released a song with Justin Bieber: “10,000 Hours.” In 2021, they released their newest album, Good Things.
