After a rough start to the season, the Westmont girls tennis team was able to jump back. Left without a coach on short notice, the team had to practice on their own until Yan Moore stepped up to coach the team. Commenting on this new addition, Junior Isabelle Oberhofer exclaims, “I can’t wait to improve with this awesome coach!” After a successful season last year, where the team made it to CCS and got second in their league with a record of 8-2, the seven returning Varsity players are excited for this new 2022 season to start. Junior Sarah Moore has high hopes this season for the team, exclaiming, “All the girls are working hard and we are eager to beat our opponents and hopefully win the league.” Senior Isabel Kikoshima furthers, “I’m so excited for this season, it’s going to be epic!” Come support the team at their first home game on September 13 against Branham!
