Fresh, healthy, and still undoubtedly delicious– Mendocino Farms. If you are ever looking for a new restaurant to try, I would wholeheartedly recommend this tasty place. With the menu ranging from salads to sandwiches to soups, you are sure to find something to satisfy your taste buds. Personally, I have many dietary restrictions as a vegan, but I still have many options on the menu that are delicious. There are also many foods for people sensitive to gluten. My favorite dishes are the Avocado and quinoa salad and the vegan banh mi. The salad is the perfect amount of crunch while still being refreshing. There is also avocado topping the salad, allowing for there to still be some healthy fats. As for the vegan banh mi (which also has a pork option if that sounds more appealing), there comes delectable tofu and pickled veggies all coated with a sweet chili sauce on ciabatta bread. This is the sandwich that got myself, as well as so many others interested in Mendocino Farms. Sophomore and fellow vegetarian Mikeala Longoz describes the vegan banh mi as “the best thing I have ever tasted,” even saying that her whole family orders this delectable dish. Mendocino Farms is the perfect place to grab a tasty, unique meal anytime.
