It’s that time of year where pumpkin flavor has taken over coffee shops, grocery stores and homes. Don’t be surprised when you go to your local shopping center and find a blend of pumpkin treats, drinks, and even candles, scattered throughout stores and displayed in the windows. During this time of year, you can find almost anything pumpkin flavored, even doggie treats! Of course, many stores, including Starbucks and Jamba Juice, have come out with pumpkin spice themed drinks for the months of October and November to celebrate the fall season. I am going to be rating pumpkin treats and drinks that I guarantee you can find nearby that you would definitely enjoy, even if you aren’t the biggest fan of pumpkin spice.
Starbucks Pumpkin Pie Frappuccino:
The pumpkin pie frappuccino is a delicious holiday treat that I definitely recommend you to try. Even on a cold day this cold drink remains a classic. It is perfect to drink around this time of year, because it is a flawless reminder of fall. Starbucks only has this drink for a limited time so I recommend you check it out soon. The pumpkin pie frappuccino consists of traditional fall flavors, with pumpkin and cinnamon blended with coffee and milk, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice. I definitely recommend this pumpkin pie drink, and I would have to give it an 8/10, because, although it is delicious, it is not as tasty as some of the other popular pumpkin spice treats I have found.
Jamba Juice’s Pumpkin Smash Drink:
Jamba Juice is not a place I would have expected to end up in almost every single day during October, but their Pumpkin Smash smoothie is absolutely amazing. No matter how cold or rainy it gets outside, the Pumpkin Smash smoothie is a must have. The blend of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla frozen yogurt are perfect for the fall. I rate this drink a 10/10 and I highly recommend that you try it out as soon as possible. I have never been so obsessed with a Jamba Juice drink in my entire life; I am at the point where I get it every day before volleyball practice. This drink is not overly sweet; it is a nice consistency and slightly creamy, making it just like drinking pumpkin pie!
Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin:
This fall treat is perfect for a midday snack or even as breakfast. The sweet cream cheese is a perfect blend with the warm pumpkin flavor. A huge benefit to this muffin is that you can order it warmed up, which I definitely recommend, so it will warm your insides on a cold day. It is not huge, but it will definitely fill you up, while also reminding you of fall with the spice of cinnamon and allspice. It is like a piece of pumpkin pie in each bite. The creamy filling is very smooth and custardy and is a great sweet surprise in the middle. It has a nice flaky top on the muffin and tastes great. “Yummiest treat ever!” yelled Rollan Tannert when he tried it for the first time. I would rate this pumpkin treat a 9/10 and I definitely think that this muffin should be your breakfast at least one time this week.
Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Creamer:
Starbucks has a delicious array of warm winter drinks, and one of those popular drinks is their assortment of creamers. Ranging from vanilla to caramel, all the way to hazelnut mocha, these creamers are always hit, so why not check out their limited time pumpkin spice creamer? Inspired by the pumpkin spice latte, this creamer offers a caffeine free pumpkin drink that is guaranteed to warm your insides and offer a sweet little dessert on a stressful day. I do have to mention that if you do not enjoy super sweet drinks then this drink would definitely not be for you. I would rate this drink a 9.5/10 because although it was a bit sweet for me, I enjoyed the blend of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg that warmed me up on a cold and rainy day. I suggest you head over to your nearest Starbucks and check out their pumpkin spice creamer asap.
Overall, there are so many delicious pumpkin treats, and these are only a few of the many options out there. Of course there are classics like pumpkin pie, and pumpkin bread, which of course I think are delicious. These four treats that I reviewed are fun spins on the fall classic pumpkin flavor that I definitely recommend you check out before they are gone.
