Throughout history, fashion continuously seems to recycle; trends from years ago often make comebacks in mainstream media. This year, fashion from the early 2000’s appears to be making a huge comeback. Low rise jeans, capri pants, baby tees, and flare pants all have become staple pieces for many celebrities and influences. All of the Kardashians have been seen rocking tracksuits, and a variety of tiktok stars have also largely contributed to the baby tee hype. Clothing brands, such as Urban Outfitters and Brandy Melville, now have dedicated sections solely for 2000’s fashion. Likewise, platform sandals, button-up cardigans, knotted headbands, and velour tracksuits all remain in high demand. Even brands such as Steve Madden have hopped onto this trend with their increasingly popular platform sandals. If you’re looking for unique 2000’s pieces to spice up your wardrobe for this summer, I highly recommend checking out any of these stores and brands.
