Peanut butter banana. Peanut butter chocolate. Banana chocolate. Banana peanut butter. What could be better than these flavor combinations? In my humble opinion, very few things. How about if you produced a recipe where those flavors shine bright, but also was secretly packed full of veggies? I’d say that’s pretty close to perfect.
Today, I’m teaching you how to make an epic smoothie. It is as thick and creamy as an indulgent chocolate milk shake and healthy as a protein-packed green salad. I made a video (!!!) to show how easy and quick this recipe is. I hope you enjoy!
½ cup milk of choice
¼ cup greek or plant-based yogurt
1 banana (freeze it for maximum creaminess!)
2 scoops chocolate protein powder
2 tbs cacao powder, cocoa powder, or chocolate syrup
2 tbs powdered peanut butter
Small handful cauliflower
Large handful fresh spinach
Large handful frozen strawberries
Throw ingredients in the blender in order of appearance. Blend on high until smooth. If the smoothie seems too thin, add ice or additional frozen fruit; if too thin, water or additional milk.
