Have you been looking for a club where you can fundraise for a good cause, make new friends, and have a say in the change you want to make? Free The Children boasts all three! We are a group of students on campus who work with WE Charity, coming together to make a change in the international community. At the beginning of every school year, the club comes together to decide the cause we want to rally for, and the region we will donate to. For the 2020-2021 school year, FTC will support clean water efforts for the less fortunate in Ecuador, in addition to supporting Covid-19 efforts. Despite the challenges through distance learning, FTC has already found ways to make an impact regarding the issues we care about. During the Westmont Halloween Parade, we ran the Change for Change fundraiser, collecting loose change to donate for Ecuador. Amazingly, the Westmont and Campbell community helped raise over two-hundred dollars for our cause, which will greatly benefit those in need. As the year comes to a close, we hope to fundraise and make even more change next year!
