Tourism is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world, with millions of people traveling to different parts of the world each year. While tourism can have many positive effects, it can also have some negative consequences, one of which is language death.

Language death refers to the disappearance of a language, either because it is no longer spoken by anyone or because it has become so marginalized that it is no longer viable. Linguists estimate that around half of the world’s languages will disappear within the next century, with many of these languages being spoken by indigenous people.
