Westmont’s dance team is always full of its own hype and spirit, and as we know, they perform at all of the major events, like football games, fundraisers, and rallies. They’re such a big part of our school, and they don’t always get the appreciation that they deserve. A member of the dance team, Kirra Faucaeon shares her perspective on how this season’s going.
How is the season going and what are some goals you have?
The season is going well so far. We’ve done two halftime performances, and we have another one tomorrow for the junior dancers. Soon, we’re going to learn our competition dances for pom and jazz, which I’m really excited about. I love my team so much, and I love getting to dance with my friends every day.
What’s your favorite part of football games this season?
My favorite part of the year is football season because it’s just so fun and hype. I’m sad that there are only a few games left.
