Sophomore Swamps

Rains of homework batter me

I am drowning in assignments

Free time is being swept away by the wind

Freshman year wasn’t such a torrent

Now the already existing lakes of after school obligations are flooding the streets

An umbrella won’t cut it, they blew that away too

I already long for summer
