Singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers released her long-anticipated third studio album Lost Weekend on August 14th 2026. Her first album in six years after Punisher (2020). Bridgers bares her soul on Lost Weekend following the passing of her father and a long period away from the public eye. Bridgers invited many other musicians to perform on the album including Cameron Winter, Bridgers former boygenius bandmates Julian Baker and Lucy Daus, producer Jack Antoff, and Bo Burnham.
Bridger’s songwriting has always been deeply personal, and Lost Weekend is no exception to this rule. Her lyrics are wrenching, piercing, at times slightly optimistic, and completely unique to Bridger’s experiences, sung in her subtle voice, with some amazing harmonies sung with others. Bridgers’ also incorporates other electronica instrumentations but still continues staying true to her indie-folk roots.
The album consists of 16 tracks, the second track Lost Boys was released as a single on June 25th, 2026. Since Lost Weekend was released it has reached No.1 on the U.K charts and No.2 in the U.S. Some of my standout tracks were: Bobby, Kill Me, Still Standing, The Governor’s Waltz, and Haunted.
