Moving Forward…

By Penny Nunes

This school year was not my best one. I did not perform to the best of my ability, and I know that. With that said, here is a list of goals for the next school year to help me improve and be the best version of myself possible.

  1. Be productive: I have always struggled with procrastination, which is why I fall into rabbit holes to begin with. Next year, if I start with being productive and stopping my bad habits then I can stop the harm before it happens.
  2. Communicate more: Not only have I struggled with procrastination but I also struggle with communicating when things go bad. Moving into junior year, it’s important to talk to people when I need help, and that is what I plan to do.
  3. Think on the bright side: I always have a hard time with getting ahead of myself and jumping to conclusions—more often than not, those conclusions are bad ones that make me upset and leave me worried. Getting older has taught me how important it is to just think positively about a situation, and it changes the whole thing around!

There is more I can do, of course, if I focus on small changes first, that will make everything else a lot easier.
