In the heart of one of the biggest tech cities in the United States, offering over 250 undergraduate and graduate degrees, lies a humble little college known as San Jose State University located in Downtown San Jose. San Jose State University—colliqually known as SJSU—has a relatively good sized campus, taking around 6–10 minutes to walk from one end to the other at a brisk pace! At SJSU, the campus has a mix of new and aged architecture with their most notable building being Tower Hall right in the center of the campus. The Martin Luther King Jr. library, located at the northwest end of the campus, is also one of San Jose State’s notable features, with an eight story building that provides students with private study rooms, spaces to study, and amazing views of the city.

SJSU is renowned across the country for its variety of programs, with its most popular programs being business, forensic science, psychology, nursing, and engineering. However, this isn’t all: SJSU offers multitudes of internship opportunities, and is ranked number. 4 along the West Coast public university system according to US News with companies like Adobe and Nvidia being feeder companies for hundreds of students even before graduation.

The college offers a plethora of activities and engagement like clubs, community service, and scholar programs that are applicable beyond a major. From Women in Business, robotics, business startups, there’s never a shortage of commitments you can become part of at SJSU!
