Caffeine Crush

By Ray Chang

My secret task was to make a song. Raw. I tried my best, but here goes something—

Verse 1:

Woke up in the morning with my brain a mess (yuh)

I needed a friend in a sparkly dress

Grabbed a big ol’ tin and began to press (yuh)

All that biotin in my gut I must confess

Chorus

Oh, it’s a caffeine crush, a fizzy rush

Never once a day do my teeth need a brush

The caffeine crush is my tiny little brush

Verse 2:

Now my feet are tappin’ on the floor

I’m rushing to finish and leave the classroom door

Dad’s spaghetti, knees weak, arms heavy, for an exam I didn’t study for

Jotting down gibberish at a mile-a-minute makes my fingers sore

Chorus

Oh, it’s a caffeine crush, a fizzy rush

Never once a day do I plan for my report card to blush

The caffeine crush is my tiny little brush

Verse 3:

Left the exam hall fine (yuh)

Slurp

Hehe . . . caffeine crush

The “official song” is below. (For brave listeners only 😭)
