Pasture Bedtime

By Emily Lima

Caramelo/Camo

In a sunny field, under the blue,
Lives a steer named Camo, with a friend or two.
His coat is brown, with spots that blend,
A gentle giant, a true girls friend,

He munches on grass and more, makes unsettling sounds,
Wanders his pen, where joy is found.
With a happy moo, I tend to smile,
Camo brings laughter, all the while,

At sunset he always walks towards a tree,
Content in his world, so wild and free.
Camo the steer, strong and kind,
In our hearts he’s one of a kind.
