During this year’s ski week, my best friend and I took it upon ourselves to cross off an activity on our previously made bucketlist: a roadtrip together. Sure, there were doubts. Doubts about sleeping arrangements, the tolerance we had towards my annoying little brother, and most importantly, we were worried that the sheer presence of one another over the course of four days would drive us clinically insane. It was tough. Lots of car sick passengers, traffic, headaches, bad breath, annoying bathroom users, but truthfully, I wouldn’t take any of this experience back, even with our newly shedding feet (Josie + Naomi Volinsky inside joke). Some of the places we ventured included Bodega Bay (which, if you were curious, is FULL of Bodega babes, and fun things to alliterate with the letter ‘b’), Glass Beach (no glass on that beach by the way), Eureka, and lastly, the big apple of California, San Francisco. Despite whatever feelings Naomi may have about this distorted vacation, I absolutely loved it, and I believe everybody deserves a road trip capable best friend, just not my Naomi tho 😎.
