The Hash House, a recently closed breakfast restaurant in Campbell, was one of my family’s favorite places. Whether it be after a game, for a reunion, or just to watch a sports game, the Hash House provided us with a family friendly experience. Unfortunately, in December of 2025, it closed down permanently.
One month later, it has already been replaced by The Breakfast Club at Midtown. My family and I were extremely skeptical of the place; would it live up to the standards we held of the Hash House? Like any other curious family of four, we decided to go try it out.
As we optimistically strut through the doors, we didn’t notice any change; it was as if the Restaraunt Gods blessed us with the same comfortably familial environment that we all loved. Thankful, we sat down and settled into the same comfortable seating arrangements we knew and loved. We stared, struck by the menu and the first noticeable change: a plain white background with a plethora of new food items. As we ordered, everyone agreed to try something new.
Finally! The food arrived. As always my brother ensured dramatization, wailing about how long it took. When we got the food, he did not complain. Safe to say, it definitely filled the hole in our hearts. Goodbye Hash House. Hello Breakfast Club at Midtown!
