While many book to movie adaptations fall short of viewer expectations, it’s nice to dream about seeing masterful writing become reality through film. Alex Michaelides’ The Silent Patient flipped my world upside down, each paragraph keeping me glued to my seat. From loopy timelines to mind-boggling plot twists, if any book deserves to be seen on the big screen, it’s this one. Unfortunately, such an event is far-fetched, but a girl can certainly hope!
