Gracious Girls Soccer

By Lili Metanovic

The Westmont High School Warriors girls varsity soccer team is off to the start of its 2025-26 season with a challenging schedule and plenty of competitive spirit. The team’s current record is 3-4 (as of January 26) in the BVAL-Mt. Hamilton A-League with several matches still to come. But week in and week out this season, Westmont has shown resilience. In the Friday, January 23rd game at Christopher High School, junior standout Lujyne Shalaby lit up the scoreboard with a brace, scoring two key goals that energized the Warriors’ attack. The team chemistry during this game was very evident, and the Warriors hope to continue this energy as they move on. Come to the team’s senior night on Wednesday, February 11th vs. Pioneer to show your support!
