Jacob Froman is a starting guard for the Westmont Boys Basketball team. He has been a varsity starter since his sophomore year, during which he demonstrated his dominance to everyone in the league. As a four-year member of the program, Froman has made connections with his teammates on and off the court. When did you start playing basketball?
“I have been playing it since I was a kid. I first started playing organized basketball around 1st-2nd grade.”
What position do you enjoy playing the most?
“I enjoy playing shooting guard the most.”
What is your favorite thing about playing basketball?
“Being able to play the sport I love with my friends.”
What has been your most memorable experience with basketball?
“All the trips we have taken, whether it be to Santa Barbara during the summer every year, or the ones during winter break to Tustin, Orange County, and Santa Barbara. Being with the team down there is very fun.”

What are you excited about this season?
“Being able to enjoy playing with my friends.”
Do you see a future in basketball?
“Yes, whether it be for an actual school team, intramurals, or club, I see myself continuing to play basketball.”

“My family and friends for always supporting me and my trainer, Jah Bennett.”

“I love steak, specifically a New York or rib-eye.”
