In this article, Kira Yurchenko and I have created a video based on the media made by 5 Minute Crafts, as an attempt to baboozle some of the educators in your life. Although every single one of these “hacks” are simply useful, it was fun to produce this short film. Enjoy, and remember, do not actually try to deceive any of your teachers with these “tips.”

Hack #1 (turning Pokemon cards into math equations):

For our first trick, Yurchenko and I thought a problem that needed solving was the issue of hiding Pokemon cards in class. Although this tip may not be helpful in this day in age, the solution to this problem was taping paper mathematical equations to the back of the cards, to deceive our teacher’s view. Now, it looks like you’re finding x, and not pikachu!

Hack #2 (filling a lotion container with gold coins):

In this hack, we encourage the students watching to empty out their lotion bottles and boxes, because it really is so simple to just hide candy in those cavities.

Hack #3 (making a cardboard phone to put away into the phone box):

This scheme involves faking out your teacher by making a forgery of your digital device. In this scene, we hoodwink the teacher by stuffing her phone box with a cardboard cut out, mimicking a phone-like appearance.

Hack #4 (adding a calculator on the back of your phone):

Adding a calculator to the back of your phone is a great ploy! The teachers definitely won’t know what hit them, it just looks like you’re pounding down some digits, not emojis.

Hack #5 (stealing a student’s identity in order to get snack):

In this dystopian-like classroom, you are only allowed a treat if you are an A student. So, our protagonist, Yurchenko, decides it would be best to print out a photo of her peer’s face. By posing as her classmate, she is rewarded with the gift of a Chewie bar. Success! Remember, do not steal other’s identities in real life.

Hack #6 (pretending to be sick, and consequently making fake throw up):

School definitely gets on everyone’s nerves, we get it. So in this hack, the best way out of a two hour lecture was to fake an illness. Creating fake vomit seems to do the trick!
