This year was a doozy! It feels like the months pass by much quicker than they used to! 2025 definitely had some challenges and weird moments, but I am thankful for all the new experiences I have had. I hope to make 2026 even more enjoyable than this year, but in the meantime, let’s look at some of my favorite moments from this year!
January
Winter Formal! I had so much fun with my friends and it also happened to be on my birthday! It was definitely a little chilly but I am happy I went.
February
Sayde Derrington’s birthday party! I love Sayde so much and celebrating her birthday with her and our friends was soooo much fun!
March
A little lunch date with some friends! We went to downtown Mountain View, Paris Baguette, and this really cute coffee shop that gives you a flower with every drink. We went thrifting together after as well and it was a really good day.
April
Yay! In the beginning of April I went to Boise to visit my sister Haylee and her husband James. It was my first time flying by myself and it was really fun.
May
ASB banquet—this was a very bittersweet moment for all of ASB. I was really sad that a lot of my friends were graduating, but I was also excited to see them grow!
June
Beach day with Emily Hou. We did water color in my car and were in Capitola for pretty much the entire day. I love hanging out with her!
July
Oregon tournament with my team! This was our last tournament all together and it was also very bittersweet. A lot of my teammates stopped playing after this tournament, but we had a lot of really fun moments together and I love this team SO much!
August
The Lilo and Stitch football game! This was very fun to plan with ASB and the LIFE Crew board. This game was probably my favorite one I went to this year!
September
September was a really great month as well! My brother, Brandyn (not the one in this picture) and his long-time girlfriend, Kiki, got married. It was very pretty and really nice to see them so happy together. I also got to see a lot of my family!
October
My fall travel softball team won a tournament! Yay! I pitched the entire game and it was SO FUN.
November
Black Friday shopping with the gang! We had a lot of fun at the mall, but then we went to watch the sunset together and it was very pretty. We ate pho together afterwards and it was really really fun.
December
Going to San Francisco to see my brother, Brandyn and my sister in law, Kiki! I had so much fun thrifting with them, doing face masks, getting food, and just spending time with them.
Overall, this year was filled with a lot of really great moments that I’m extremely grateful to have gotten to experience. Sometimes, we get caught up in the negatives that we forget to live in the moment and enjoy our lives. In 2026, my resolution is to enjoy life and appreciate all I have!
