Senior Adina Freudenblum, wearing number 21, is a dynamic power forward for the Westmont Girls Basketball Team known for her strength, skill, and unselfish play. A four-year member of the program, Adina has grown into a leader who consistently battles for rebounds, scores with efficiency, and sets the tone on both ends of the court. She is a great teammate who leads by example, encourages those around her, and brings positive energy every day. Adina’s passion and dedication make her an important part of Westmont basketball. When did you start playing basketball?
8th grade, when I was 14.
What position do you enjoy playing the most?
I enjoy playing the 4, also known as power forward.
What is your favorite thing about playing basketball?
The community and friendships it builds, plus the support it provides.
What has been your most memorable experience with basketball?
My most memorable experience was coming off the bench at a game, scoring 17 points, and being nominated for Cal High Sports Player of the Week.
Do you have a pregame routine?
My pregame routine is to get boba before.
What are you excited about this season?
I am excited to make memories with my girls on the court for the last time.
Do you see a future in basketball?
I will always keep basketball in my life and would probably play for fun after high school.
Who would you thank for your successes in basketball?
Definitely Trevor Naas and Suzanne Reese for giving me such good support and encouragement to play; I wouldn’t be where I am without their unconditional support.
What’s your favorite food?
My favorite food is spaghetti.
What’s your favorite class?
My favorite class is Mr. Shieh’s AP stats class.
What’s your favorite post-game meal?
My favorite post-game meal is Chick-fil-A.

My go-to music artists are Tyler Childers, Lizzy McAlpine, Jeff Buckley, and Jason Aldean.
