Breaking Bad 2: The Rise of Walter Jr.

By Logan Mendelson

Twenty years after the bloodshed and mania of the original series, the fan-favorite crystal blue bros are back—but this time—it’s their kids!

Walt Jr. teams up with Jesse’s secret son, Messy Pinkman, portrayed by Tom Holland. This new power duo will take on distinct rival manufacturers including: Doctor Drugs, Crystal Kingpin, the Salamanca family (again), and Marie.

As Marie’s shoplifting tendencies worsen, her nephew (Walt Jr.) and Messy must decide to fight fire with fire; they must steal from her. When the two hooligans steal Hank’s treasured mineral collection, Marie isn’t very happy. She runs a full-scale investigation and instantly uncovers the boys’ nefarious operation.

Doomed to taint the legacy of their papas, Junior and Messy enlist the help of Holly, Walter Jr’s sister. Despite playing the role of a helpless infant in the original series, Holly has become a strong, honest, and capable heroine—the perfect recruit for some drug manufacturers. She becomes the hacker of the group, manipulating CCTV footage to their advantage.

With Junior’s determination, Holly’s vaguely important skills, and Messy’s comedic relief, this team cannot be stopped. That is, until their plans are halted by the one and only Saul Goodman. You see, Saul had been enlisted by Walter White to file a patent for his blue crystal product—thus, legally, any production of such an item would be shut down.

Saul unleashes his full power: a Slippin’ Jimmy classic. He uses Meta Ray Banz glasses to record the facilities in which the manufacturing occurs. Presenting the evidence to court, Goodman rises in popularity again while the trio is thrown into prison.
