Westmont’s Girls Volleyball team has killed it yet again, accomplishing another successful season. The Warriors finished in fourth place in the top BVAL division with an even record. Securing a ticket to CCS, Westmont was seeded ninth in Division 2. After a five-set thriller, Westmont defeated Gunn High School to advance to the next round. The team’s season came to an end following a loss to the first seed and eventual winners, Aragon High School. A huge congratulations is sent to the team after a very successful season!

Thoughts on the season: “All three of our teams had very successful seasons, with Varsity making it into CCS, JV finishing with a 13-8 record, and the Freshman team finishing first in league undefeated!!” – Captain Agatha Kogan
Advice for next year: “I’d advise next years team and incoming players to attend our open gyms over the summer! You get to meet the coaches before tryouts and familiarize yourself with the program” – Agatha Kogan
