I love working. To many that may sound surprising, however, it’s true. I am fortunate to work with the best coworkers ever!! Despite the many times I crash out during a rush, I never dread going to work because I know what a privilege it is to be able to work. Work has taught me not to crack under pressure and has instilled in me to keep calm even if there is a line of people behind you. Besides the feeling of almost passing out from an overwhelming sensation, my job is the best. My coworkers, for one, are pretty awesome too. My two managers Destiny and Valentina are heaven sent, although having to put their foot down at times, I am thankful for the opportunities and the laughs we have shared. The cooks are probably the funniest people I have ever met. I thank them for excusing my behavior when I get stressed and the delicious food they make for me!! To my fellow cashiers, I am thankful for their wise advice and our never ending jokes. Most importantly I am thankful for the customers who have taught me to show kindness, even if it is not being shown to me, and to have patience. I will never not be thankful for the countless experiences and lessons having a job has taught me.
