By Wesley Adams

Cori Sharma is a Westmont freshman who really knows and appreciates fashion. They’re always putting together something stylish to show up in, and making sure others know when they look good as well. Today, Cori gave an insight into their fashion sense, and talked about why the subject is important, both personally and in general.

Describe your style in 3 words.

That’s a hard question. I’d say like… Baggy. Baggy, baggy baggy, cropped.

Who inspires your fashion?

Mostly just Pinterest boards, and like the big person was my sister, cause, She was the person who really kind of told me that I looked like an idiot wearing my skinny jeans and baggy hoodies.

So I, she let me steal a lot of her clothes, and I’m really grateful to her. She’s very, she’s like a big influential, big influential? She’s very influential in my fashion sense.

What’s your favorite item in your closet?

Oh, that’s a good question. Um, most of my jeans. Most of my jeans or the jacket I’m wearing right now. It’s like a cropped black washed jacket. Super cool, I love it.

Where do you shop for your clothes?

I usually go to Amazon. Sometimes I thrift clothes with my sister, or I go to the mall and just buy. I only go to the mall very occasionally though, to like buy shoes and stuff.

What is something you would like to try fashion wise?

I want to try like, more like, androgynous fashion, kind of like skirts, and more like dresses combined with more male upper body. Yeah.

What’s a fashion trend? You love?

Fashion trend I love… I love those like cat ear beanies with the really long… Those are so cute.

I love those, and also like leg warmers over the top of baggy jeans, those are so cool.

What’s the fashion shot you hate?

Fashion trend I hate, those weird camo pants, and jorts. Oh my god.

Why is fashion important

Oh, uh, that’s a good question. Fashion… Fashion is really important in how you see yourself, and also how other people see you. For me, It’s more so how I see myself.

Fashion is a big part of like expression for everything. It shows a lot about your personality and your character. How you hold yourself in your clothes as well is very important. fashion, has a lot of… it reflects a lot of what you are and what you tend to do, and what you are. I said that twice.
