Things You Can Do with a Potato

From french fries to hashbrowns, there seems to be an unlimited amount of unique potato based foods for you to enjoy. I created a list of these, just for you!

  1. Cepelinai

Cepelinai is the national dish of Lithuania, consisting of a large, hearty, oval-shaped dumpling. This dish was popularized after World War 1 due to potato availability.

  1. Kumpir

Kumpir is a dish from Turkey, linked to the Balkan region where it was introduced to Turkey. The dish is a popular street food, often offered with a vast selection of toppings like chopped olives, pickles, and sliced Turkish beef sausage.

  1. Aligot

Aligot is a dish originated during the 12th century, in a small village of central France. It’s a dish made from cheesy, blended mashed potatoes, it’s a mix of stretchy, silky, goodness.

  1. Batata Harra

Batata Harra is a vegetable dish native to Lebanon and Syria, consisting of potatoes, red peppers, coriander, chili, and garlic.
