Despite losing to Woodside on August 29th, Westmont showed resilience. They fought tooth and nail until the final down. This was Westmont’s first game of the season, so they will look to bounce back in their next match.
A standout player was #26 Dashal Stout. He had 2 TFLs, 4 Tackles, and an overall presence that rallied the defense, making a crucial chase-down block against the Woodside offense.
The players are excited about this new season and see potential in their team. This team believes it is in contention for its league. They have good players on offense and defense; the key now is team chemistry.

On the fifth of September, Westmont defeated Fremont High School 36-27. Guided by a strong offense and backed by a defensive stalwart, Westmont made quick work of Fremont. This is a breath of fresh air for the Westmont team. The football team now looks to challenge for its league title. They take on Hill next and hope to continue their forward momentum with a big win.
