Call me vain, but I can attest to the validity of the motto “look good, feel good,” especially on the basketball court. In many cases, the uniform you wear can make or break a small part of your confidence. The WNBA has a wide range of jerseys (some better than others), but here are my personal favorites!
1. Dallas Rebel Edition
Black is always a great start because it looks good on everyone. The bright green and electric blue contrast really nicely against the dark material.
2. Seattle Rebel Edition
Similar concept to the Wings’ uniform, but something about just the neon green and black is so pretty. Unfortunately, it seems like the Storm are always wearing their white jerseys.
3. Fever Stranger Things Rebel Edition
Whoever proposed these deserves a raise! From the well-placed paint splatters to the color scheme, these were so well executed, and I love seeing them on my screen.
4. Valkyries Black Explorer Edition
Of course, I had to add our home team! I’m so happy the League didn’t come up with wacky colors; the lavender is beautiful and looks good with white and black. I do wish the jerseys were a little more visually interesting (like the aforementioned ones), but for the first design, I’m not mad.
5. New York Rebel Edition
Everyone looks good in these jerseys, which I’m surprised by because they are bright teal! The gradient gives the jersey interest, but the black keeps it calm. I had to add this picture of my goat, Marine Johannes.
